replacing the fuel filter

RE: replacing the fuel filter
Yes their is a special tool. Its really just a plastic split ring for pushing in at both ends of the filter. Just go to a good parts/auto store like Pep boys or auto zone and tell them you are changing a fuel filter on a late model ford. They'll hook you up . It think a set of various sizes are about 12-15 bucks.

RE: replacing the fuel filter
I did mine yesterday. The real pain is the shroud over the fuel filter.(Location is on the driver's side rail) I just unbolted the back half and pull down two the plastic ratchets and bent the shroud down. The fuel kill switch is on the driver's kick panel. It was kinda of a pain in the *** as far as fuel filter go.
