radar detectors and jammers work if a cop is just sitting there with his radar on. I live in hawaii and all the cop cars are unmarked. they get behind you then throw the radar on and your caught. it depends where you are . in some states like virginia they will cost you double if you get caught- once for speeding , once for having the detector.

K 40 is likely better than valentine for laser diffusion. But it cost $2,000 fully installed ($2,300 with two head units) that's for the blue tooth version (less invasive). Also need to have front molding of stang cut. I got a 955 for $225 at Circuit City on sale. Doing nice pace with a crossfire and beeped Ka. We slowed and some jack a in a VW got ticketed about 1/2 mile up. Paid for itself. Mine has lazer detection which basically tells you you are about to get a ticket because you just got videotaped speeding with a lazer trap.

How do radar jammers work, are they illegal?
As for a Radar/Laser detector nothing beats the valentine1.
+1
The Valentine1 has saved my friends and I many times.
