I love the way the billet aluminum fuel door looks but a locking gas cap is a must in my opinion. I bought my Stant locking cap and I've fealt much more secure ever since. There are a lot of haters around and I didn't want anyone messing with my baby.

+1 for Silver Horse Racing. My GT is Redfire, I ordered the black anodized GT logo door. Excellent quality!!! Easy to install with basic tools. Beware of cheap imitations, however. I've seen some real bad imitations.
Please post some pictures of this.

Buy it from Silverhorse - you won't be dissapointed....
Burke do you have one on your Redfire? If so i would love to see a picture of it.

Richard
No Richard I don't - sorry

But have seen them on GTs and know how good they look, as well as having talked to Marcello from SH in person a few times and KNOWING the guy is ALL about putting out quality pieces for people and their Stangs. He runs a great little company and they are making some top notch pieces.

Wow, thanks everyone. It's always good to not have to walk into a mud-slinging thread like I've seen some manufacturers get nailed with...

On the doors - yes we manufacture them, as well as other tru-billet products for the Mustang, and you are welcome to order directly from us or through any of our dealers, including Steeda. But as has been mentioned, there are imitators out there now, so be careful - not everyone bothers to go through all the steps we do on the parts for you. There's a reason that one of the hottest Mustangs coming out is wearing our door and not those from some of "the other guys" - they compared the product, as well as the offerings from others, and called us when they had decided.

Also, we have our Christmas sale going on now, so there is 10.00 off on the non-engraved pieces right now. I wish I had a picture of one on a redfire car for you, but I only have the honeycomb panel pictured on a customer car currently. I know we've got a lot of customers with them, just none that have submitted that photo for us to post up to the site.

Any other questions, feel free to ask. * On edit * Here's a couple of un-retouched photos of production pieces - pulled right off the inventory shelf, so no shell games here.

Mind if we use one or two of those on our "customer car" section?

I'd be delighted. I only wish they were better pics. If we ever get some sun around here, I'll send you some better ones.
Here's one of the whole car, but the fuel door is pretty small in this one.

Cool - when you get some send them our way - lots of customers like to see the actual part on their color car, and it's just not in the budget for us to have one of every color Mustang at the shop just for photos so we rely on customer submitted photos for a lot of our pictures!

Thanks again.
