I do not have the current codes but that code is normally related to a small EVAP System leak Usually the gas cap. Did you get gas recently? If so you may not have gotten the cap on tight.

well here's what happened. noticed it a couple days after i got gas at about half tank. checked the gas cap, it was on tight. 5+ "driving cycles" and one monster burnout later, its still on. so i checked the code with a friends tuner. P0456. just as i suspected. but it's not going off for some reason. i'll have to inspect the cap tommorow carefully. also someone said something about a vacuum line being loose?

if you want to get rid of the light, use the tuner to clear it or unhook your battery cable and see if it comes back...damn epa and their evap..if they had to work on it they would think otherwise....

Use the tuner to clear the light and then drive it. Once the code is set it normally will not go out until cleared properly

My 2001 GT had this problem, dealership wanted to charge me $450 to change a vaccum line. I got a new gas cap, cleared the code and never had another problem.
