Default Hydrocarbon Trap

I was installing my K&N Procharger Intake on an '06 GT and it says that i need to take the hydrocarbon trap out of the factory installed intake and place it into the new one. The only problem is, my factory(stock) intake didnt come with the trap. Do 06 GTs come equipped with hydrocarbon trap? My car seems to be running fine with the new intake, but i still dont want to take any chances. Please let me know where i could buy the hydrocarbon trap. Thanks

You don't need one, Ford quit putting them in about 3/05, everyone was removing them prior to this and gaining 3-5 h.p. the directions were probably printed prior to this, or they don't know Ford quit using them.
