I have the more expensive Borla ovals. Compared to stock, they are louder and lower pitched at low rpm. At WAT, they are maybe a little less loud than stock
My car is a fair weather vert, so I'm usually driving with the top down. These are plenty loud for me. I'm an adult with neighbors. I like the rumble, but still want to get invited to the block party.
The stock mufflers are pretty good. Changing out to the ovals is a fair amount of cash for a fairly small difference. I'm glad I did, but there is not the dramatic change as the stingers and other types.

If I remember reading correctly, the oval-can are slightly louder than stock and the stingers were louder, throatier exhaust. At least when I was looking to buy them that is the way they were advertised on the different retailers websites.

dude, why isn't your car in ROTM? it looks freakin awesome.

Can some of you post pictures of BOTH STYLES of Borlas, and rate them for me. Also which will sound better when I do put on the Long Tubes with high flow cats??

I am kinda with slowpozer on this one. Lethal and Borla both have good pics for you and as for rating them. This is gong to be a debate that would never die.

I love my FRPP Stingers.

No someone who has the other set can post and say they love their style. Both are going to sound good and I think its going to be hard to rate them since everyones set up is different also.

I spoke with someone over at Steeda. Borla makes their stingers as well, however he said that the Steeda stingers do not have as much drone as the Borla. With that said, I'll prob throw the Steeda's on in March when the nasty weather is done.

My buddy had the borla ovals and I put on the frrp stingers, after I installed the stingers I did a drive by and he ordered the stingers. He sold the ovals on e-bay. We both have the kooks and the stingers sound awesome. Drone seems to be less and less the more they're broke in.

+1 to the drone going awyay. I do notice that it is not as much as when i first put them on. I have about 3000 on mine and I really don't even notice the drone anymore.
