Default question about x-pipe and axel back

I am fairly new to this and ive done some reading and this question popped into my head. If i had a new axel-back exhaust, would I be able to put a x-pipe w/ cats on it with no problem or will it require a full catback exhaust setup? thanks ahead of time

Im not 100 percent sure but unless your going with LTs you probably dont need to mess with the cats at all. The x-pipe will mount to your stock cats and should mount to your axel backs also. I was thinking of getting a x-pipe but as far as power gains is concerned its not worth it unless you go all the way with LTs. The cats on these cars are high flow from the factory I am told.I opted for UDPs before the LTs due to bang for the buck.

No problems with x pipe and high flow cats to the axle backs. You would be replacing the H pipe and still using the over axle pipes.
