Hurst Shifter Rattles!

Hurst Shifter Rattles!
Is anyone else having a problem with their hurst shifter rattling? I just installed it yesterday and it starts to rattle at about 2.5k under heavy acceleration. I don't think anything is loose, and I did use locktite. If I hold on to the shifter arm tightly it seems to go away or at least decrease. I alsmost sounds like there is something inside of it. These are solid aluminum though, aren't they? It sounds like it's hollow with a piece inside of it.
Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I wish I wouldn't have been so stupid about my closed-end wrench and the forward-arm bolt.....oops.

Well, I've searched but couldn't find much on rattle issues. I used locktite, but was having a very difficult time because there was very limited room under the car and the locktite was very runny. I can't imagine during just a few drives that I would have already worked something loose, but I guess I might just have to crank it back up in the air and take another look. Man I wish I had a lift.

rattle issue = the 2 bolts holding the shifter handle under the boot. The 2 allen bolts. I have had this problem as well as most the people that have this shifter, I went and got 2 nuts out of my nuts and bolts coffee can and tightened that way. Or you can go to a hardware store and get them.

No rattling for me. I did have a small vibration after installation. It was the leather boot. After 3 or 4 drives the heat helped secure the boot inplace(guess on my part)and the vibration stopped.

For what its worth, here's a possible solution:
When I had my C5 Corvette, I knew alot of guys who converted to an aftermarket Hurst Billet Plus shifter. Alot of them were complaining of rattling also. A solution someone found was to wrap alot of teflon pipe thread tape over the threads where the shifter **** screws onto. This remedied the situation, believe it or not! I know its two different cars, and I don't know if this would help, but just an idea I was thinking of when I read this thread. Worth a shot I guess!

Thanks for all the ideas.
I jacked up the car again last night and re-checked everything. Everything was tight and secure and I must have put 100ft/lbs on those dumbs allen bolts that attach the shifter arm. There is NO way that those are causing the rattling.
It seems to only happen under heavy acceleration at certain RPM's, and doesn't seem to happen when I'm spinning (snow) under acceleration. Apparently a load is needed to duplicate the rattle. It's weird and frustrating.
