I like how it cleans up the look of the engine compartment and fan shroud area. Also the sound that the WMS makes when your "on the gas" is unique,it makes a sucking-whooshing sound much like the sound of a Tri-Power carb from the late 60's. I have heard Steeda & Airaid and they don't sound anywhere near as cool as the WMS.

Great input guys...Thanks. As stated, I want to educate myself on all aspects of all the available mods out there. Winter time in the northeast is a great time to do that. Like anybody I'm looking not only for the best bang for the buck, but what makes the most sense. Being an engineer myself, I like to rely on the "science" of what goes into these products and how they work...rather than hearing about how "you can really feel it"...that needs quantification. And ofcourse that why we have the dyno along with other diagnostic sensors. Again thank ALL for the input.

Slammer 1 +1 on your comments,As stated earlier, most of the popular brands put out close to the same hp/tq numbers, so it gets down to personal preferences, looks, that loud sucking sound when you go WOT, and for me the fact that it easily bolts up to the Saleen SeriesV1 SC that I have installed on my car with no additional modifications to CAI.
Certainly CrazyAl has and is entitled to his opinions which i have respect for.He has always added interesting and informative comments on many topics on S197.But being in that small group of WMS users I think that I made the correct decision on which COLD AIR INDUCTION system to spend my money on.

I do agree that the WMS intake looks bad @ss!

scrmngt, I like your way of thinking! The problem with a lot of anecdotal reports is that they are very limited. You hear guys say "I installed the Brand X intake and I love it". Well, that doesn't mean that "Brand X" makes the best intake...or evena good intake. All that means is that the writer of that post likes it. Now if someone tried multiple intakes and that's the one they picked--that is more meaningful, which is why I like the aforementioned magazine report.
