Chef, I don't know how much my shaker actually helps my cai, I have it pretty much conected the same as it was with the stock air box. I got the shaker about a year ago, knew it didn't do much for performance, just wanted it for looks, and I just purchased the cai and tune about a month ago. I will put a picture on here to show you what i did to get it to work, its not the prettiest setup around, but it works.

nick105, all I know is got the CAI, and tune for 93 octane all on the same day. I not really worried what works or not but the combo keeps me nice and happy

Do I have to buy a tuner like SCT xcalibrator 2 to be able to do a tune from bamachips or brenspeed? Thats like an extra $375.

nick105 i got tune and cai i think from brenspeed. i cant even remember., think though that the whole thing cost $625 took about 45 min to install, i had a friend help (which i recommend, the instructions werent very good)

Yes you should be a combo with CAI and TUNE. To load the tune you have to have a tuner. They could still send you tunes if you already have the tuner. The 650-700 is the best money you will spend.
