Default Strut Brace

Has anyone installed a strut brace on the 05 - 07 Mustang GT, if so, does it make a noticeable difference?

Discussed many times.....this is more a appearance mod than anything else. It might stiffen it up and bit but the front is pretty stiff as is.

i installed the steeda strut tower brace, i really
can't tell the difference to be honest.

i decided to do it, because a lot of people swear
they do help and a lot of the muscle cars of the 70's
installed them as well....

That is a good question to be asking I could not answer if it makes much difference but in conjuntion with other front end upgrades it could not hurt. I checked the search function myself with no info given on your question. So feel free to ask any question that somebody like Crazy Al might be able to give you a good answer on. Welcome to MF by the way.

A wise man once said:

The theory of this product is that it ties together the front strut towers, reducing body flex. The S197 chassis is very stiff--espeically at the front strut towers. Consequently this isn't really needed. In my opinion, this is a mainly costmetic mod. There are tons of choices out there as this is a popular "me too" product that was popularized with ricers--becasue of this there's flood of them on the market. The the BMR is the strongest. If you seriously want one that's functional, that's what I'd get. The Steeda one with the billet ends is a joke and has an insane price tag. No thanks! Note that some strut tower bars can interfere with superchargers or plenum covers, so be careful of that.
