Default Brenspeed tune....is this a problem???

Yesterday, I installed the Brenspeed Xcal2 and C&L...awesome performance now...I love it!

One point though...I notice that the electric fan is running almost all of the time now. Its only about 55-60 here...is this normal?

i only notice the fans when i'm shutting the car off. i would
submit that heat = bad.

sure you could have the fans come
on at a higher temp and that is your call.....i think trading a few
watts of engine output, for extra cooling, is acceptable at this juncture.

They are user adjustable in the SCT with his tunes, dont like it, change it. Im not sure what factory settings are, and what his are.

I'm assuming the fan runs more often to cool the engine. I think i'm going to change mine next time i reflash.

I really did not notice the difference to be honest.

All I know that last summer, with the mods below, 105 degree weather with 90% humidity, AC on, and driving hard, and the car was keeping its cool.

Thats works for me.

I don't know if this is correct or not, but I read that the fans shut off once you are going 30+ mph, because your engine doesn't need them anymore. So with this in mind, the fans shouldn't really be running that much, unless you are in serious stop-go traffic.
