FYI-when ipod won't respond !?!
Anyone who has installed an adapter to run their ipod or any mp3 player through
their factory audio using the aux. I had installed a DeMolet CAI and tune from
Brenspeed. About a week later when I got in the car and wanted to run the ipod
and I pushed the "aux" button it came up "no aux ........." . WTF!?! Then it dawned
on me that the only thing that I had done different was install the CAI and a re-flash.
I put a call into Brenspeed but it was after hours on a Sat. I got the directions out
for the PIE adapter and about the only thing that I could come up with was to
disconnect and re-connect the battery. Hoping that that would maybe re-set the
radio. I'll be damned!! It worked!! Ipod back on-line. FYI.

I had that problem as well. Instead of disconnecting the battery and then having to reset everything, clock etc... Just disconnect the power connector to the PIE, then it will work. I put mine inside the dash, but off to the side of the glove compartment, so I just opened the compartment all the way out and had easy access to it.
EDIT" FYI, it had nothing to do with your tune, as when this was happening to me, my car was completely stock. The PIE must be getting hosed up with theCAN messages and every once in awhile needs a reset.

Hmmmm I velcroed my adapter so it sits on top of the radio and then ran the
rca cable inside the console along the shifter to where it comes out into the console
(there is a little removeable plate) and there is a DC continuous power plug.
So everything, cord-power adapter-ipod, is hidden away inside the console.
Only bad thing is that you can't control the ipod using the radio controls. Oh well.
The only thing that I had to do was re-set the clock. All my station pre-sets
were still intact.
