Ive had my stang for about 8 months now, and not one problem has occured with my shaker 500

No problems with my Shaker 500, which is only two months old, so it's one of the latest versions. The only thing I find annoying is that when I put in a CD with a lot of MP3s and put it on "shuffle," it replays the same one or two songs frequently. Shuffle should be "shuffle and don't repeat." Oh, and the lack of bass is making me wanna add another sub. Otherwise, it's a fine system. Not quite as good as the Mach460 was, but still OK.

I have noticed that when I drive long distances my discs sometimes just pop out and it says bad disc, I put the disc back in and it works fine for a while.
I also have a 98 Explorer and the display got so dim you could barely reed it. I took it to a stereo repair shop and the guy said he repairesa lot of Ford radios, I remember something about cheap solder or componets, not sure wich one. $100 later and I have not had a problem.
