It does seem that camaro's and trans-am's do gain alot of power with basic bolt-on's. Check this out.

All I can say is LS7=dry sump race motor (no oil pan)
If I didn't love the stang way of life I'd trade my wife, my house,my 07 GT, and my lightning for a 2008 Z07 vette

Gm has a very differnt mentality about building engines than Ford does. GM builds a motor that can make incredible power, but limits it with restrictions built into the basic bolt ons.. heads, exhaust, etc... so your run0of-the-mill can turn 450 or 500 at the wheels without much fuss. Ford seems like it purpose builds the engines, and kinda matches everytihng pretty evenly, so your only gonna get smaller gains from similar mods.

to the OP.. Nice kill!!

I admit I miss my '00 T/A, but the Mustang feels like it's made better, and overall it rides/handles better too. The Mustang feels a bit quicker to me too, my best time in the T/A was 13.6 though.

That was a tight ride there! Gotta love those T/A's!

yea the ls1s are sic i miss my 02 Z28 but the stangs are mad better i felt like my door was going to fall off everytime i shut it they didn't do the little thigns for ddoes for comfort i think chevy was jsu concerned with go go go. but the LS series motors are the best ive seen nothing makes power quite like them i eman come on a n/a vette z06 makes 500hp it took dodge a v10 to do that. and if you add forced induction well look at what a lingenfelter can do. ill admit i miss the raw power of the camaro but overall the stang is better quality.
