Pypes Violator Mufflers

RE: Pypes Violator Mufflers
Just put mine on today and I love them. I think they have a nice rumble on the low end and they sound aggressive. There is definitely drone, but it's not overwhelming. Happens at about 1800-2000 RPM and for me "SO FAR" it has only happened when I am on the highway doing like 40 +, but the tips look great and once I get my Pypes O/R H I think it will be ridiculous loud. Can't wait!!

I get some drone if the RPMs drop to ~1500,e.g. cruising in 5th and having to slow down for traffic. Otherwise no drone in the other ranges.
As for sound, I think they have a nice rumble at low RPM and a loud growl WOT. Not quite the same as Flows though, notquite as lowof a pitch (I had Flows too but they broke.)

I had the X-pipe with the Violators from Pypes.com put on a few weeks back and though they dont sound bad its not what I was looking for- but everybody is looking for something different when it comes to sound. I wont be keeping this mufflers on too much longer because I dont want any drone. Anything frrom 2K and under just irritates me with that sound.

How is the drone of the Pypes compared to the Flow's? I have the Flow's now and the drone is not that bad to me but really wouldn't want anything more. Was thinking about getting the Pypes as they sound louder but only if the drone is less/equal to the Flow's. Thanks!
