saturday night out..
So the weather for today was forcasted to be very bad. SO, last night I just HAD to take the car out. So i head down to the "hotspot" where most of the people in central NY go with there cars on friday/saturday nights. I had an interesting night. I hit about every red light on the blvd. And I also happened to be first in line each time with a random "ricer" next me. It started out with a grand am SE that tried to race me...needless to say, i didnt bother even bringing it to redline to walk all over him. Next up was a civic hatch. So i decided I was going to give him a little more "umph" Light turns green and we go at it, and hear his BOV....he must have not been a very good driver...or a really crappy turbo because he should have kept up a little better then he did.
So now im driving around looking for this LS1 I saw driving around. Redlight...look over to my left and there is a brand new impala SS next to me. I look at the driver and it was a buddy of mine that use to have a nice GXP. Light turns green and i have a great launch...By time i let off I had him by about 2-3 cars. We pull up to the next light and go at it again, same results. So we start at a slow role around 20 and he pretty much stayed at my back bumper but i was slowly pulling ahead.
And last of all on my way home i get stuck next to this new GTP that wants to go. So light turns green and that was an easy kill too....Im drivin back home and he pulls up next to me were goin around 60, i downshift to third and give three slow honks and take off. He doesnt move....This guy must have been pissed because he followed me for about 15 miles. When i pull up at the next light, he gets next to me and he's like....nice car. haha. I said thanks and he said "theres no way i was gonna race ya from 60, **** that.
So it was a pretty good evening i would say!

Don't know about those Cobalt SS's, but the Saturn Ion Redline's are fast. 14.5 1/4 mileas tested by Edmunds. If one catches you "slippin" it might pull out the win........nah....I'm jus kiddin.
