I agree with 4.10's, but what I am experiencing is not gears, it is definity tune.

I have debated the gears with myself as I really like top end speed.
I had that problem in the auto i used to have, Its in the tune,

The "Torq Managment" part. The way i used to discribe it was like if i had a vacumm secondary carburated car and i nail the throttle and then the "Secondaries" would kick in.

The best way to get that changed i think is to get a dyno tune so the tuner can make changes right then and there based on your preferences. Then again, i could be just blowin smoke out my as _? LOL

Excuse the smartness, wife buggin me today.............Time for a long cruise..............LOL

Unless you live near anautobahn are you really going to drive more than a 130 mph everyday? That's about what I have heard your top end would be with 4:10 gears. You could actually be faster.

I have also heard 4.10 gears make our car faster on topend as well. As currently we don't make enough HP to use the gears we got since were so, lets say sqaures don't cut through the air very well So the lower gearing compensates for our lack of aerodynamics allowing us to go a little faster top end better utilizing the HP we got. Granted if you have 350-400+ HP over stock, then it might hurt your top end. Granted this is what I have come to read and understand, don't Flame me!!

Unless 165 mph is too low for the top end on our cars with 4.10's, don't get'em.

People always talk about a supposed loss of top speed with 4.10s but I have not problems reaching 130+ and I still have plenty of RPM left to spare. I haven't maxed out my car yet but how often do you really go over 100? Not often if you live in the states
