Default Anyone have Procharger w/ 4.10's?????

My automatic which had 4.10's is currently being swapped for a manual and I am curious to how my daily driving will be affected with the fact that I have a procharger (10 lbs. of boost) with about 490 wrhp. My rear tire is 305/45/18 which makes my gears change to 3.89.

Need Comments.

I don't really know, But wouldn't it help it get into the power band quicker? Since its a centri.

4.10s are great with your setup. If you had them with the auto then going to a stick will be even better IMO. I still have my 3.55 and first to me is really non existent. But I am whipple S/C this summer and will still want 4.10's. The only problem I worry about is gear whine after the install of the 4.10's. I have a trusted shop at the end of my block and they seem to think that i will have no problems after the install. Funny to is they have been there forever and the name of the shop is the "Rear End Specialists"

I'm not so sure you'll like it. I have very similar setup. If you can change gears well enough, you will rip through 1st and 2nd in about 2.8 seconds. PM me an email address and I'll show you a very brief video of the car going through 1st and 2nd. Mine's going in today to have transmission swap...basically a clutchless manual. As far as tires, there's not a street legal tire out there that will keep you from spinning uselessly in 1st and 2nd, undermax boost. My Nitto DRs are really fat 315, but don't help much but they are very good on wet roads. But spinning tires is actually your friend. If you use slicks at the track, for example, and reallystart to dig, all that energy that was lost in spinning, will be directed to your stock rearend.....it can only take so much. I didn't start using slicks until I seriously beefed-up the rear.
