get exhaust for that V8 sound? is it much of an improvement over the stock? mine sounds pretty nice factory. Not saying its special, just wondering how much u can improve the sound that already rocks in itself

 

I dont have 1 yet but from what ive read on the forums w/ a JLT or C&L w/ a custome tune from one of the big guys (breenspeed, bama,<--might of miss spelled 1 of those) I've "heard" up to 30rwhp gains w/ 93 oct.

 

I went with the roush front facia first. If I had to do it over again I would have gone with the exhaust since I went FI.

 

yea i feel like i should get exhaust for that big v8 sound i mean i'm not a flashyguy but i'll see if i can afford an axle back and an intake with 1000 but i don't think it's going to be the right decision bc neither will be quality if i do that i think i want SLPs and i'm going to go with c&lcai plus tune meaning over 1000 but you def have to show off that V8 for sure with the axle back

 

I did the same as myGT500.....would advise CAI/tune and I love my tri-ax shifter

 

yes stock does sound nice, but have you heard the difference between a stock gt and one with exhaust??

 

i am afraid it will be too loud. stock sounds perfect to me, i cant image and louder or quieter being better.

 

it all depends on what setup that you get. My brother has a 2001 gt with magnaflow mufflers with a mac X and its not that loud while idling or just casually driving, but when he takes off you can tell that he has an exhaust. Try going to some websites that allow you to hear different exhaust companies with different setups.
