Mac OR X-Pipe + SLPs = Too Loud
I will have to say from the outside it does sound beastly, did a fly-by video which is too long for youtube, and I don't do video editing. However interior noise is pretty loud. I think I will install the cats, that should cut down on the noise some right? Video here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN0IM6QbbqM
haha, sounds freakin sick as hell... but yea, cats will make it sound not as loud... it will still be good cause you have the loud mouths and a x... (do you have after market cats? or the stock ones)?
With the O/R Mac X you can run stock cats with. So I would probably just run those. As far as HP goes, it feels like I have less, however I am just babying it due to inner noise, if I can get my other video cut down, I will post it. I do wide open run, and shifting into 2nd, definately a HP improvement, as my wheels bust loose a lot more then they normally do.

a hp loss??? im not sure but maybe the x pipe would work a lot better for you if you bought after market cats that are compatable with the mac X pipe...?

Definately a noticeable HP gain in the butt dyno.
