ORIGINAL: StartMeUp

Sorry, off topic...but why did this car go up in flames? Does anybody else find it a little scary?
I'm guessing the other car caught fire, still had fuel spraying to the engine, and spread to the mustang... there was no impact to the gas tank area, and obviously the fire didn't start in the engine compartment... JMO... On another note, I've seen quite a few messed up stangs that were rolled and whatnot, and drivers seem to walk away unscathed.. good safe car

You still never said what you can get the car for??

Don't you think that just might be pretty important information to provide when asking people if it is worth it???

The Roush (Eaton) blower is a POS, but I certainly would use one for $1000.

It's all relative - If the whole car is $1000 - I'd jump on it quicker than a mexican to home depot. Can't give any advice without $$$

for $1000 it'd be in my driveway....If it's on a wrecker lot I'd talk to a strawboss and try to get it (s/c)even cheaper if I could pull it... It's prolly not intercooled so before you get happy there's another thing to think about

That car could fetch about 2500-3000 easy as even though the undamaged panels are burnt they are still usable and the right body shop can do wonders with torch panels... I have seen it first hand.

If you can get for $3K I would buy the car for the motor and just have a second engine. Strip it for parts, and sell the body as scrap metal.

If its on an 07 alot of the fittings aren't going to work. Roush sells a supplement kit that replaces alot of them.
