C&L CAI Question
is it necessary to use the mounting bracket on the mass air housing? i was having a tough time getting it to fit and since the intructions said it was optional i gave up. just wondering if anyone else didn't install it and if it caused any problems. and if anyone did install it, how did you get it to fit? thanks

it was a easy fit you just have to unbolt the front driverside bolt on the valve cover i reused the same bolt for the mount. also you can go and check out taco bill's write up on cai install that should help you out, also the directions that came with the c&l explained how to do it also. hope that helps
