weld 15 inch wheels

weld 15 inch wheels
I know this subject has been beat to death but I have been searching the forum for the past two days and still can't find the info I am looking for.
A few weeks ago I ran across a post of a blue mustang with 15"weld draglites on it. Also on the post was size and back spacing info. I can't find this now. Anybody remeber this post?
I don't really want Draglites I would rather have Alumastars. Anybody running these? Any ideas on back spacing, the size of spacer needed, any other info?
I thought about calling JPC racing and asking some questions about their Bogart package. But I don't plan to buy Bogarts. I don't like any of the styles.
I love the 17" Weld alumastars but when I called Weld to see what they weigh they could not give me the info. The wheels are also built to order. I have had a set of Weld Magnum double beadlock wheels on order since Febuary for my drag car. So I guess the 17" wheels are out unless I want to wait.
Anyone know of a place to get a stock set of 17" wheels narrowed that would be semi street worthy?
Either way I plan on running M&H tires all the way around.
Any help would be great. Thanks

RE: weld 15 inch wheels
Hey, If you find out what you need, can you let me know? I have 15x10 for the rear of my 2006, but I am not sure what I need to make them work as far as spacers or what. I also have 15x4's for the front, but I am not sure if spacers will make these fit over the brakes of the car... Thanks, and good luck.

RE: weld 15 inch wheels
Well I have done some reserch today. No way will a weld15x3.5 magnumfit up front I tried today(took them off my 94 mustang drag car). They hit the caliper.I called aerospace brake and they make a kit for the new mustang that will allow a skinny weld to fit (or so they said they would fit). Problem is they are real thin rotors. I am thinking they wouldn't last on the street. As far as the rear looks like the bmr sway bar re-locating kit along with the right offset (not sure what that will be) and your good to go. I have decided to run oe 17"narrowed wheels up front and either a oe 17"widened or replicain the rear for now. I did see where weld has a part number for the direct fit 17" magnums along with the alumastars. Now if they will only stock them!
