Default engine block?????????

I was just woundering what everyones opion on wether to forge my block or buy one already forged. i have an 06 mustang gt with paxton 2200. any place or web sites to go please let me know.

not sure what you should do, there are too many unknown variables.

Personally, I'd go the already assembled route. Just easier that way.

you dont need to change the block but if you do i would buy another block. that way you can do an engine swap and not worry about taking apart the stock engine

Since I'm going turbo in the near future I thought about it just like you, researched it, and decided to just forge the internals. It's been said the stock aluminum block with forged internals can withstand about 700rwhp. Plus the aluminum block is lighter and better in dealing with excessive heat.
BTW remember to lower your compression ratio (8:1-8.5:1).
