Default Modifications steps/questions...

I currently on order for the C&L Racer/Tuner from Brenspeed.

My next step is a set of LT headers. I am consideringMac LT & Prochamber Kit as shown on Brenspeed.

After the LT step my next step is to go possibly with at least Stage 3 Comp Cams, either 3.73 or 4.1 gears, and port/polish stock heads or buying some Stange 1 or stage 2 from Livernois as shown http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...t.phtml?p=1529 .

What opinion do you guys have on the heads? Use stock polished or buy? I am not experienced and have no clue what getting the heads done locally would cost or if they would even compare in gains.

With all above what estimate rwhp might I see. And would I be better off to do something else prior or in combination with above steps?

I know S/C would give more gains but was wanting to keep N/A.

Anyone have any similar setups or read of any that would care to share. All opinions welcome.

If you intend to do cams, then the L/T's are a must. You will see threads go nuts about the benefit of cams. many will say they are a waste blaa blaa and others like me, that have experienced good results. I gained 40 hp from Comp stage III cams. I am at 345/333 at the rear wheels. As for heads, if i were to do them, which I have not, I would go with Livernois due to others experiences with their quality. You will also need to do a custom dyno tune from a reputable tuner to get the most from the setup.

if you plan on cams, stage 2 or 3, with the 800 core refund, makes them fairly affordable.
1 is just a port/polish, 2 includes better springs, better flow, and more, good to ~600 lift on a cam.
