I live in Sacramento and I believe that only up to 91 is avaiable in Ca, I have not seen 93 anywhere.

You won't even notice a difference between a 91 and 93 tune, at least not from a mail order tune. Just go with the 91.

+1 go with the 91 tune.
Rather safe than sorry.

There maybe a racer around there im sure who knows? Heck, i just found out i can get 100 octane at a union 76 station down the road from me, and that was by chance.

I'd be weary...it probably contains lead.

103 unleaded here in SE MI but i stick with the 93, personally i dont think your going to see to many gains between 87-93 if your NA with just bolt ons. I choose 93 because i hear they and some type of additives to the fuel as well which helps the engine in the long run. Ive found the 93 tune to feel more aggressive top end, but the 87 had more jump to it. Im curious if anyone has ever tried either a) a dyno run on the same day under the same conditions with 87 vs 93 or b) ran at the track with 87, waited and hour (somehow got rid of the rest of the gas in the car) and did another run with 93. If anyone has heard of anything like that or done it pls let us know

/end partial hijack of thread
