Well after 17 months of sounding great and me telling everyone my flowmaster AT's werent rattling at all, they started. Well one has. And its the drivers side one, I thought most were having the rattle issue with the passenger side one.

Oh well, Ill need to see if they will do something for me at Flowmaster, if not, dumping them and never recommend them again!
I can kick the muffler and it rattle like no other, its really freakin bad!

Unbelieveable!!! Mine are 16 months old, and just started about a week or so ago!! Finally narrowed it down this morning. I get a real nice kazoo sound right at 2500 RPM, both under power and decel.Also on the drivers side.But the odd part is, I cannot hear a rattle when you smack the muffler, like you noted... Where did you buy them?

i was hearing the same with mine and once i got to looking it was the crap clamps they send with them. look at your exhaust and if you see cabon that looks like it was blown out of your muffler then go pick up some good clamps from any parts store. its like 5 bucks really easy fix.

 

Not as easy as the clamps unfortunatly.

My gf bought them from brenspeed for a xmas gift. Of course she didnt keep the reciept.
And brenspeed has a new computer system. arghhhh.
So shes getting the credit card statement and sending to him and he will get me a reciept.

 

LOL...Brenspeed must think there is some Flowmaster conspiracy coming from this board....I just contacted them today with the same problem. That's how I found out I purchased 16 months ago.....[:@][:@]

Interesting....Yes, I did notice some carbon blow by...Perhaps I will try this prior to ripping em off and shipping em back....I torqued the living crap out of the current clamps........I assume you are referring to a traditional "U" clamp?? Thanks.....

Well thank you. They are Niche F18's. You have probably seen them on the Xenon car.....
