Default Tunable Induction CAI

So i got my DeMolet Tunable Induction CAI in today and I love it. Even with just the 87 tune it has made a HUGE difference. I had one problem though. The tip of the filter and the top of the heat shield are rubbing on the hood pad...is this a big problem and/or is there anything i can do about it. I tried aiming the entire assembly down more but the shield wont allow it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Well if you feel comfortable about removing the sheild and trimming the top (if possible) to clear the hood liner. Some have removed the sheild all together if the CAI can still be safely held in place. Others have removed the hood liners.....its up to you....JMO J
