anyone using this oil catch can?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OIL-R...spagenameZWDVW
Looks good for the price, even including the $16 shipping. It says 9mm or 15mm fittings, I'm guessing 15mm for us.
I need something before putting the whipple on, i don't want to such a bunch of oil into the intercooler.

that is an interesting design, it may even
be the best....
i've looked at catch cans (oil seperators) and
i like this style because you can see the oil
buildup and it has an easy drain valve at the
bottom.
don't ask who makes it, i don't know just yet...

That glass POS can be found at Home Depot for like 8 bucks. It fills up quick and is cheesy IMO. That's also the same one sold by Steeda. I believe it's made by Cambell and Hausfield - the air tool guys.
Moose - after spending the better part of 6k on a blower (congrats [sm=icon_rock.gif]), spend the extra few bucks and get a Stef's. It's known to work and will look sharp in the engine bay.

That is nothing more than an air compressor filter from home depot with some fittings and hose attached. You can make that for the same price or cheaper I'm sure. I believe it's made by husky, but there are other manufacturers that look identical.

I'm using the Steeda one with the glass bowl and it fills up fast. Also, when you install whichever one you decide on, make sure that the tubing isn't bent so much that it's pinching. Braided lines aren't a bad idea for doing this. With the Steeda separator I just put it inline with the existing tubing for zero bends (actually, bought high-temp tubing and used the stock quick disconnects and kept the separator inline with the intake).
I'll prolly step-upto a Stef's someday but not in the real near future becausethe Steedais working fine for now.

You may want to get the 9mm one too for the passenger side hose that goes into the intake tube. I took off my intake the other night and there was fresh oil inside it.

Hey drbobvs: How do youle the shorter gears with Saleen? I've heard people say they love the 4.10's with the manual but it seems like first & second gears are already way too short with the 3.55's. (sorry, don't mean to hijack)
