Let me know how they sound with the off road H, i have one too...I run Violator mufflers and its loud as hell, I wonder if these will be quieter which would be fine with me, I wake up the neighbors kid when i start my car in the morning

I am insterested in a review as well. I just have violater axle backs and dont like the drone for 1500-2000 rpms. I can live with it just dont like it.

I would have bought these in a heart-beat if they were out when I was shopping.

Off-road H or high-flow catted H will fix that right up.

I am going to probably do it this weekend if i have time.
If I may ask, any particular reason why you want to remove the stingers? Is it the drone in particular? Or you just want to try something new?

The system install is slick and clean. Think they just ran a how to install feature in this months Modified Mustang. Looks super clean. Just dumped $600.00 bucks replacin two rims that got chowdered yesterdayNow I cant afford the things[:@]I hate Asian cars.

Im currently running Stingers with a Brenspeed O/R H-pipe and it sounds great at idle, but when Im at WOT it sounds too much like a raspy camaro...or has a "harmonic" sound to it as described in other forums... it doesnt have the low rumble Im use to with the older 5.0's so I have a Magnaflow hi-flo x-pipe on the way and Im gonna install that and see what happens.... if this doesnt work I think I will be one of the guinnea pigs and buy the pypes mid-mufflers.

adding the x pipe is a sure way to make it raspy...that would be the wrong direction i think.......the mid muffler setup should make it deeper and smoother...we will see shorty

Yea I have heard that as well, but Im hoping that by adding the hi-flo cats it will quiet it down alil enough to make it not so "harmonic" sounding.... if it doesnt work oh well I guess??? I got the hi-flo's off ebay for a good price so I will just turn around and sell them if it doesnt work. Im half tempted to just order the mid-mufflers tho... haha

the harmonics is known as drone.....the stingers are whats causing it, not the midpipe...althought the mid muffler might get rid of the drone too
