Default Idler Pulley Removal

How hard is it to remove the Idler pulley?..Just wondering what is involved in doing this...I amgoing with a shorter belt and smaller pulley to the run the 12 psi pulley on my whipple.

You'll need a pulley puller (yes, that's actually the name for it), in order to remove any pully. It's not hard...but the puller will cost you about $50-$100 depending on the size you need. Drive down to the nearest shop and see if they will pull it for you for $20. Save some money.

If you live near a auto parts store like Autozone you can rent them. They'll charge you up front, put give back when you renturn it.

Go buy an inexpensive one in the $20 range. It's not difficult at all to do. I'm sure you can get all the help from anyone here to do it yourself.
