I just installedthe C&L CAI with the tune from Evolution and I have the wonderful orange light on my dash message center, whatever you call it. I read the error with my SCT Tuner and itstates it has 2 error codes: P0172 and P0175 "SYS TOO RICH". What should I do or what can be done to fix this? Thanks!

 

did you tune for the C&L? may be the MAF sensor is dirty or not hooked up properly.

 

I need to go get my car dyno tuned. The 93 Octane tune is from Evolution Performance and they shipped it on my SCT Handheld Tuner. I don't want to mess with user settings and make it worse. Ihave tried calling Evolution but the phone keeps ringing.

 

you might want to check if you got any local SCT dealers who can dyno tune. i'm pretty sure you have to tune for the C&L.

 

does your Xcal2 have a tune for the C&L pre loaded.? my livewire had the tunes for different CAI preloaded

 

When I plug in the SCT Tuner to my car it says in text "Evolution Perfomance." I bought their combo packages with the tuner and C&L CAI all in one box. I'm going to check the connections first. Evolution is located in my area.

 

then go to the shop for a dyno....you are wasting money on the mail order tune if they are that close!

 

The MAF connection must have been dirty or the vacuum hose wasn't tight enough [BUT itstill doesn't slide all the way over the nipple/valve whatever you call it] because the DCT light disappeared from my dash. The CAI and Tune does make my AUTO shift like a beast and chirps like a muuuffugger. I only drive my Mustang around town, because I hate to put unnecessary miles on my car. I will have to put 20-30 miles to get to Evolution, haha. I know, I'm picky in that way.
