that has nothing to do with the re-calibration of the sensors.

If it shows fault it is not pressure, it is the system, it happened to me the first day I had my car too, it was because the dealer swapped my fan blades for the bullitts

My question is, would it be ok to bring it in with my cai and tune?

The dealer didnt even open the hood to recalibrate it and it took about 5 minutes

They just turn the key a couple of times and walk around the car with a small device which learns the system. The tech has to wait for a signal and then goes to the next tire.
As stated above, 5 minutes, no hood popping or tune erasing

ORIGINAL: Chris07GT

Picked up my 07 GT last night. On the way, I stopped to show the car to some family members. When I started it up, I got the "Tire Pressure Monitor Fault" error. It's still there this morning. I really don't want to have to go back to the dealership with it, since it's like 30 miles away. Is there anything I can do about this (other than press reset everytime I start the car)?
Same error...Two hours after I picked up my brand new car. I had to take it back to the dealership after one week to see if it would go away - Tire pressure set to 40psi from the dealership (18" Polished Aluminum Bullits). Irelieved thetire pressure to 33psi, and that's why I waited the week before having the dealership diagnose the issue.

Dealership said one of my TPM's was broken, and they'd have to order the part. When I picked up my car however, I had a gouge in both the front wheelson the lip of the rims(Most likely from the tire mounting machine). One week later, the dealership replaced/fixed the TPM and replaced both my front wheels. Everything is fine now.

Yeah, it has made me wish on multiple occasions that I had taken the good deal on the "leftover" white 06 instead.[&:]

When I purchased my 07 GT a few months ago, I had the same problem with it. I took it back in the next day and they were able to re-calibrate the sensors and I haven't had the problem since. It didn't take them terribly long either, something like 30 minutes and I was out of there. Worth doing, hitting that reset button ever time you get in the car gets tedious.

Gratz on your purchase too =)
