Default Update for fixing my GT

So the adjuster/claims officer contacted me after the inspection. The final bill that'll get my pony out of the hospital is going to be just under $4k. Grossly underestimated IMHO. But we'll see I suppose. Once all the parts from Steeda, AmericanMuscle and Ford arrive it'll take approx. three days to fix...

I'm anxiously watching the weather every morning to see how long this sun is going to hold up...

I thought it was just one axle and the brakes on that side? Maybe lower control arms.

You'd better be careful. My brother wrecked two cars within 1 year of each other. No one else was involved in either accident and after that no insurance company would insure him. He had to pay out the nose for some no name high risk insurance.

I'm definitely not one to look a gift horse in the mouth...so to speak. I had a heart to heart with the girl while she was sick outside the shop. Hope all is better, but I think this is a lesson I wont soon forget.

Sounds like the damage isn't that bad

I was t-boned in my old car 1.5 years ago, lady ran a red light(totaled) and recently I was cut off by a red fox body mustang on my motorcycle on the freeway ( No helmet and I was almost near death in the ER for 2 weeks). Anyways the insurance has stayed with me and so far no rate increase!! I have Met life and they apparently so far have paid the bills on time and fast.

OK, but neither of those were your fault. Insurance companies don't like it when you make claims that only involve yourself. My brothers claims were both totaled vehicles. One was a capri which wasn't worth **** anyway, he ran into a ditch. The other was a new ford escort and he fell asleep behind the wheel and flipped it.
