Awesome! Congrats!

You know, there's no better feeling in the world than saving and scrimping and then being able to buy something. Makes it... so much more meaningful.
Let us know how it goes!

How much did the Vortech plus install run you?

I grew up in the detroit area and my Dad was a motor head from way back. I heard alot of stories that had me laughing, some made me gasp and some made me want to go out and get a HotRod!! I am 40 now!

In Highschool my uncle gave me a 76 Camaro and I dropped a 327 Vet Engine built by a guy who built stock cars. Had a Munci Rock Crusher Trani, Edlebrock High RIse with Dual Holly's. My first hotrod........hhhhmmmmm. Oh to remember!!! It had way more horses than the chassis and the suspension should have allowed but it was fun in the straight aways!! My Dad used to drive it once in a while and just grinned!

Now I am all about Mustangs!!!

I think they are pretty similar as both are quite strong, but I BELIEVE that the KB can hold more boost

To the OP, your car looks super clean, and therefore really nice. Not a fan of the side stripe though, but otherwise a really sweet car! OMG keep me updated.

Congrats on getting blown and you will love the new found power! I agree that you should get forged soon if she is your DD.....just a suggestion. I am running 454 RWHP with the Whipple and am getting stroked/forged next year as I worry sometimes....and it isNOT my DD. JMO

The whipple kit is better because it comes with the gt500 fuel pumps, plus I don't think the KB comes with spark plugs. I think the KB makes more HP, but I really didn't even consider that in my decision because the differences are negligible at 10psi and without a built engine.
