Default Break In Period

Hey everyone im picking up my new stang on Saturday I was just wondering if you guys knew anything about it needing to be broken in.

Either way im stoked 08 GT blk on blk all options except shaker 1000[8D]

I broke mine in for 1000 miles in the typical manner.

These cars don't really need to be broken in, butjust don't touch the redline till you have atleast 1000miles on her. I didnt though but thats what ppl told me 2 do lol i've driven hard from day one.

Quick break in is flooring it up to 150 mph right from the dealer's lot, then coast, like, 5 miles, down to 20mph. Repeat, and you're done.

I got a "loaner" cause I told the dealer I would come back the next day and do the deal. He said leaver your truck here and take a GT home for the night (they had to bring mine in from 3 hours away). I flogged that thing sooo hard I almost felt guiltyStock gt's can break em loose in 1st, 2nd, and a little chirp in 3rd.
I took it easy on my car for the first 500, not I beat it like a red headed step child

just get it up to normal op temp and then vary engine speeds, as per the owner's manual. You don't want to go easy breaking in a new engine or it won't know how to react when you go from mild to wild. Romp on it a little each day.
