I wasnt trying to say anyone didnt know what they were talking about. Im probally a little older than most of you guys. I grew up driving hot rods that required constant attention under the hood. And not to sound like a smarty but 450hp isnt that much. I do realize that hp is used more effectivly today than it was 25yrs ago. I just want a fast street car without alot of problems. I will tell you every time I drive my car I hammer on it. I love racing and tire smoking.

Hammeron, Are you running a turbo? I would love to get a straight up response from someone running a single turbo. Its not to late for me to change my mind we are not going to order it till monday. I just want tire smoking power without havig to raise the hood everytime I go somewhere. I also want a car that sounds really cool.

I know my 1/4 mile times don't look great but it was my first time at the track on REALLY crappy tires. I've never had any issues with temperature either, even running it hard. Temperature gauge doesn't get any hotter than it did stock.
the stock temp gauge is a dummy gauge according to everyone here, it will always read in the middle unless the engine is cold. Makes sense seeing as how it's always the same wether i'm sitting at idle or cruising 75 on the highway. 12.3 is very good for street tires.

We installed a Hellion Turbo on my buddie's 99 Cobra. At 9 lbs of boost it made 430 RWH at 4k and held it all the way to 7k. The dyno has a nice flat powerband. We had to limit the boost to keep the axleshafts alive. It's retarded fast. He's still getting mid 20 mpg on the hiway.
