Default Quick Question for the wise

Is it frowned upon to buy a used S/C? Like one with maybe 5,000 miles or so on it and it checks out (meaning everything is ok as far as condition). Thanks guys

If your talking about the one for sale I would jump on it. Who cares if it's used, besids who will know that it's used unless you tell them. Saleen stands by there products, I know from a recetn break down, and they paid for everything including the tow bill.

Well I am not ready to jump on one quite yet Keith. Just thought I would ask the question in general so when the situation occurs, I will know to jump on the deal or not. So it is okay?

I got a friend putting a used procharger on his vette. I dont see an issue with it if it's in good shape. Just like any other mechanical device.

So you're asking if you should buy a used S/C, if and when one becomes available?

As long as the parts are well maintained, it doesn't matter if it had 1000 owners!

My Paxton came off a Brenspeed R&D car. Believe it had about 2000 miles on it and so far I've had no issues at all. Saved quite a few dollars this route.

Yes, I don't see the point of paying the full price if I can find a good used one. Also, why don't more people buy used blowers when they purchase them if it is not a bad idea?
