HP/seconds ratio

RE: HP/seconds ratio
Don't quote me, but.... I think the general rule of thumbis about:
Shave 100 lbs = gets you 1/10th
10 hp = 1/10th.
on the other hand...my CAI/Tune maybe have been only 25 RWHP,
but, I bested my ET by 5/10ths. It's an auto, so the tune helped it shift harder too.
Oh, and please don't tear me a new one if I'm wrong.

RE: HP/seconds ratio
Yes, that is correct.
Basic rules of thumb:
10HP=1/10th
100 lbs sprung weight =1/10th
50lbs unsprung weight=1/10th
10lbs rotating weight=1/10th
150 foot change in Density altitude=1/100th
1/10th 60'time = 2/10th at the end
Basic rules of thumb:
10HP=1/10th
100 lbs sprung weight =1/10th
50lbs unsprung weight=1/10th
10lbs rotating weight=1/10th
150 foot change in Density altitude=1/100th
