Call your bank and ask them what makes sense...People nowadays don't pay ca$h for anything..So the KBB is what banks/people will go by on a newer vehicle..You didn't buy a bentley or an enzo, your car will depreciate

I understand cars depreciate, i was justaking what you all would do, spend the 10k on parts or put ittowards a roush 427 or saleen s281sc

I agree with everyone else make it your own for yourself not to make money......Personally I would keep what you have and make it your own(Look and Performance)....Saleens and roushs dont hold their value that much moreanyway....with cars its a gamble you never know what one is going to holdits value....just look at the old muscle cars hell even look at 98 supras going for 40+ if people knew they were going to be worth 10 times more than they bought them for dont you think everyone would have done that......You can make a Mustang GT just as fast and even better looking then any roush, saleen, shelbyor vette besides why would u want a vette THEY SUCK(just my opinion)lol....If you are going for another look but still want a new age muscle car goput an order in for the 08 Camaro.....

 

20years down the road, we will see who's car appreciates more in value...Any car that they make very limited numbers to (roughly only 1600 Saleens per year) will start to appreciate later on down the road

I know they hold more value, thats not what I am debating. What I was saying was that they will appreciate in value more

 

i know what you mean while you see hawks goin for very cheap on ebay, they have high miles and are in poor to moderate condition. my hawk has 9k orig miles, is stock minus the tint and tires, and is flawless on the interior and mint on the exterior. i have hagerty insurance and my plan is for 30k, although ive had 2 dif people offer just above 40k for it. of course they arnt normal car ppl, they have mega bucks and want it in a time capsule

 

I want the GT500 in the worst way, but I'm allready protective of my GT. I fear I'd be afraid to park the 500 anywhere but in my garage. Nightmares about it being stolen, etc.

I'd be hapier with the cheaper car that is paid for and I'd actually use (and not be afraid to beat on once in a while.)
