+1, but if you are going for landspeed records then an aeroforce gauge should give you an accurate speed over 145. I'd check for you if I were crazy enough or had a road long enough with no traffic.

I was wondering the same thing.....My question is do they make an after market gauge that goes over 140?

 

The top speed is limited to 149. If you look close there are marks to 150.
And they probably don'thave numbers past 140because thereisn't really enough room for more numbers the way the speedois designed.

I took my 07 Gt to about 137 mph. It wasnt very smart. A week after i did this, i had to take the car to the dealership because it would shake between 40-50 and at 80mph+. The dealership guy told me that i had busted all 4 of the bands in my wheels that messure tire pressure. He said it was the first time he had ever seen this, but i do have the 20" foose wheels. So i dont think most of you would have this problem. Just thought id share the story
