As far as the engine is concerned, boost is boost. Only difference between the two is when it happens.

AMOUNT of boost is what is in question between the two. 10 psi on a TS is 10 psi instantly where 10 psi on a centrifi is 10 psi only at peak which means the engine is under more boost/stress longer with the TS.

You are correct, at the peak - they are the same - the main difference is the amount of time the engine was under 10 psi load with the TS vs. the centrifi. For that reason, A centrifi is easier on the motor.

I'm at 6300 rpm with 9 lbs of boost and love the throttle response.

It sort of reminds me of when the secondaries opened up!

If someone with a twinscrew SC is shifting at 4500rpm they need to take it off right away and give it to me. You can say someone can shortshift a TS but then again someone with a centri can just shift at 2500 and never have any boost... I don't know anyone that does either.

Perhaps, but you have to run higher RPMs to get boost. RPMs cause more engine wear, which is why many believe a TS will be better in the long run because many will short shift at 4500-5000 RPM, instead of always running high RPM to get boost. It makes sense, assuming you short shift. If you don't, well that means your car will be under boost more often, and of course, wear faster.
