All right,my older brother just finished driving mystang, he his quite sure that the car is fine, but speedometer isn't. So, he is putting his expensive Stack speedometer display unitfrom his Corvette, to mystang.

As I will have to leave for Baltimore tonight at around 1AM, as being the server engineer that's the time client gives us for the server upgrade, so ...I am gonna try and see the diff. I might be doing at least three more runs to Baltimore this week, so I am determined to reach the conclusion if I have got a lemon or something else is the culprit.

Also, two things.

1st. What does the lemon law says? if there is a problem will the Ford fix it, as today they confirmed there isn't. How good is the Ford in warranty? My earlier mustand was a second hand and out of warranty, so never had dealer exp. with Ford.

2nd. The guy in Audi lives not to far in DC, he in MD, so you think I should give a call and try sometime again?? He seemed like a nice friendly guy, and we talked for 10 mins or so and exchanged phone nos. as he is also ..almost in the same field as mine. I am linux admin, and he is windows admin.

I don't mind calling, but will be shame to loose again to german car. Though, I will probably only do it once the problem with my car is fixed.

 

I hear you talking about the audi like it has some weaksauce engine. it's a twin turbo V6 making about 250bhp. far from a slouch.

You should have been able to pull him easily.. what gears did you use? Test question (when you are going to race rolling about 75-80mph on the freeway what gear would you downshift to?)

Btw, I am not running down the Audi, just can't understand 45 hp less/500 Lbs heavy/2 cyl less can be fast. Also, I raced like for 4 miles straigt then there was a curve, but he was pulling up. I doubt if his car was modded ...just didn't looked like one..hell, he didn't even had tints..looked high class, brand new without stickers and crap and well polished. In fact, he sounded like he was against chip as he was concerned about long term affect on engine.

I still can't forget those blue HIDs coming fast from behind. Damn!

Lemon laws differ by state. Why not just have your bro pace you in that Vette? He'll tell you how fast you're going if he can throttle back that much.

Sounds like your Speed Limiter is set to 110mph. When mine was stock it was set at 120mph but mines an 05. Just take it to the dealer and have it turned off or buy a hand held tuner and change it yourself. I don't think anything is wrong with your car.
