Default JLT questions

I found a guy selling a used JLT intake for a pretty good deal. Its only got like a thousand miles on it (hes getting a blower). Its one of the original JLTs, not the JLT 2. I heard some people were having problems with them. Bad idea to get it? Anybody have any info on the original one?

Don't forget you will need tunes for the intake. That might not make it a good finacial deal then.

My SCT for sale below has a tune specific for the JLT2 on an 05/06 GT. I have it listed at $450 shipped (the package together).

Make me a reasonable offer through a PM.

Doesn't the sct have to be set up for a particular ecu code?

I believe this is correct. But shouldn't you be able to download the file to a PC, reset the tuner for the correct ECU then load the tune onto your tuner, and finally upload to your Stang?

Thinking out loud...

Not for canned tunes like this. It would work for any 05/06 GT.
