Is there supposed to be a rubber gasket/seal on the Mass Airflow Sensor?

NO, I had mine out in the 07 and there was not a gasket!

Mine has one. It never came off the MAF though, and I transfered it between intakes a few times.

alright i couldn't take it anymore....

i pulled mine off and yes there is a TINY
little rubber gasket on there. it's not under
the screw holes, but just around the rectangular
part of the unit....

if you don't feel around with your finger, you may
not even realize it's there...
