Default Block Heater cord

For those with block heaters in there GTs, where does the cord emanate from? I tried to plug my car in the other day and I could not find the cord under the hood for the life of me. I do have a block heater, I have the original window sticker which lists it.

I ended up having to start my car cold in -27C weather and it didn't like it very much at all, lots of whining and groaning.

Tee, Hee...no offence but most people would not know what a block heater is. Take a hard look around when you get a chance inside a nice warm wash bay one day or the next time your at a pull up oil change place and ask them to take a quick look for it and tie it to a convenienient location. Best of luck.

Just look for an electrical cord coming from the side of the block and follow it.

If you can't find it, move south...

ORIGINAL: AlloyGT07

Check the lower left side behind the bumper.

If by some chance it's not in that location, look around under the battery. That's where I found them on my Ford pickups, but my guess is that it's near the front bumper.
