I gotta say that FI doesn't mean you 'HAVE' to go all out. Ditto about the saleen or whipple giving you what you need - either one will be good.

If your wife is concerned about too much power for you right now, then I would suggest a compromise and get the whipple or Saleen and put a huge pulley on it and make 3-5 or so psi. The car won't be too crazy over stock and everything is ready when you want to turn it up in the future.

I agree 100% with exx - you don't want to waste money twice and I like the fact the whipple is the most complete kit out there IMO. You get the GT500 fuel system and it is ready to go fast when you are.

Just get the whipple or Saleen and keep it conservative till you're ready IMO...

Yeah not flying with her for right now, probably just waste money and try to sell it on ebay. I think If I do it this way I can get adj LCA's and some other stuff as well. Kinda twisted but I think it may work.......I could however just get the tuner but would that be a waste as well or would I maybe get that discounted too since I already have it???

Yes, you can buy 'tuner kits' for just about every kind of FI kits out there.

Make sure that you buy the right kind of tuner for whoever the person that writes the tune uses.. Brenspeed uses SCT's, some places use Diablo..

Also, I don't know about in VA, but yes, here in NY if your rear O2 sensors are off, then *poof* goes the inspection sticker..
