Saleen supercharger vacuum line
Hello,
I just noticed that JDM sells a vacuum line kit for the Saleen supercharger. The way my vacuum line is setup now is the hose goes from the Fuel Pressure Regulator to the side of the supercharger and then to a metal line that runs underneath the car I'm guessing to the KenneBell BAP in the trunk. The boost actuator on the back passenger side of the supercharger has a hose running to the power brake booster. Is the correct way the vacuum should be setup? Thanks.

Hey, nice #'s! I'm glad to finally see someone else with a 3.6" making about the same numbers I am. I guess my car wasn't the only fluke out there!!
As for answers to your question, unfortunately, I'm sorry man, I can't go look right now, car's in the shop having a bunch of cosmetic stuff done... But if you don't have an answer still in a couple weeks, PM me and I'll take a look. I'm supposed to have it back in time for a show on the 28th..

THE BAP has nothing to do with it...all the connections for the BAP are electrical...there are 2 ways of hooking it up...saleen way or JDM way.
saleen way
line 1 from FPR to middle fitting on the driver side of the SC
line 2 ...vacuum accuator on pass side to 3/8s fitting on back of SC on driver side to brake booster
JDM
line 1 from FPR to middle fitting on the driver side of the SC to vac accuator on pass side
line 2 direct line from 3/8s fitting on back fo sc on driver side to brake booster

RE: Saleen supercharger vacuum line
This is what JDM just emailed me back:
That is the exhaust flappers in the back that the silver line runs too. Basically you can remove that, saleen did it as an upgrade on most cars. The fuel pressure regulator needs to see boost right off the side of the blower like you say it does. The boost accuator however needs to see boost at the same port, but like you say its hooked to the brake booster. It will never see boost from the blower that way and it mays the accuator sluggish or slow to respond. If you hook it to boost on the same port as the Fuel rail pressure regulator you will feel a difference in the way the boost comes in. It wont add boost but it will feel better. This may require a tune if your car is already tuned.
I dont like the BAP, its a band aid really and can burn out the fuel pump or cause other problems. Id get the twin GT500 pumps or the Saleen twin pumps system. That will last you to over 600 HP and has much better reliability.

RE: Saleen supercharger vacuum line
A little, hehe. JDM mentions not to have the boost actuator hose connected to the brake booster. So does that just get capped off at the power brake booster? It's a bigger hose compared to the one connected to the FPR.

I think the BAP is utilizing the vacuum line that went to the exhaust valves in the back for the pressure switch which is that hose coming off the FPR and Supercharger nipple.
