Default ET's

Hey!
I know sometimes some cars just happened to have more, or less, horsepower than others right? I just took my car to the track this weekend. I was only able to get in 2 runs but was nicely surprised. My best was a 12.92 @ 109.2! Probably a half second faster than I expected. My main mods are just a C&L Intake and a Diablo 93 tune. I was hoping to get another run with the tune switched back to stock just fora comparison but didnt have the time. Oh well, maybe next time. Wish me luck guys......the car goes to the shop for a Roush supercharger next week.

I wouldn't completely rule it out. Before my blower, I ran a 12.8@107 with a brenspeed 93 tune, C&L street, LCAs and sticky tires. If he's an excellent driver, he might just have pulled it off.

You had traction for days compared to a stock GT with CAI + tune...that makes a huge difference.

It's the mph that is in question. I'd call bs on the fact he did't put a 60' or even a 1/8th mile mph.. Why don't people put their 60' times when saying I ran a ____ with these mods..

+1 60' means everything to a run.

Thanks for the support nine. Yes, its a manual. My first run was a 13.12 at 105. As far as being a decent driver I've beena professional SCCA racer in my younger years so I think I can handle a car. This is my 5th Mustang in my life and I'm just impressed at my luck at finding one with such a happy motor.

By the way, I didnt put the 60 time or the 1/8 because the track I ran on doesnt record it. The timeslip only shows 1/4, speed, and reaction time. It doesnt hurt my feelings if you dont believe me. I'm 40 years old and have no reason to lie.
